1.    The Center for Health Policies and Studies (The PAS Center) within the Reducing HIV-related burden in the Republic of Moldova Grant financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) intends to a apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Works.
2.    The PAS Center now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for reparation a palliative care department within RDVD (Dispensarului Dermato-Venerologic Republican).
3.    Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders.
4.    Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Captaciuc Cezar Procurement Specialist by e-mail: cezar.captaciuc@pas.md and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5.    A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 1.000,00 MDL.  The method of payment will be made through direct deposit to the account of PAS Center.

6.    Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 17:00, 23.07.2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at 14:00, 27.07.2010.  All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
